About

Sandspit Alpaca is a small alpaca farm located on the beautiful New England sand spit known as Cape Cod.

Our small herd of Huacaya Alpacas began when we purchased our founding Peruvian female Reina de la Noche and her son Jumping Jack Flash in the spring of 2008. Reina, a bright, deep brown-mahogany with a fiber of extreme fineness, went on to produce Delilah's Twilight Delight, Sandspits Goldent Nugget, and Sandspits Golden Agustus, all with award winning fleece.

In 2010, we purchased Island Alpaca Annie, a dark silver gray and white. Annie has gone on to birth Sandspit's Cometa Calente, Estrada's Velvet Roxanna, and Black Eyed Suzi.

Delilah's Twilight Delight had her first cria in 2012, named Delilah's Sweet P. Like her mother, she has dense, bright fiber with a fine handle.

Lastly, there is Kramer, a regal, older Lhama that keeps watch over the herd.
